- Day 02: Half Day Visit to Ngamba Chimp Island.

8 DAYS UGANDA SAFARI FOR WOMEN – Full Itinerary / Day by Day.
DAY 01: FLY INTO ENTEBBE
Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be met by our uniformed representative who will meet, greet and assist you around the airport. After ensuring you have all your belongings, he/she will transfer you to your which is a mere 10 – 15 minutes drive from the Airport.
Overnight: Entebbe.

DAY 02: VISIT THE CHIMPANZEE ISLAND
Breakfast; thereafter your guide will transfer you to the waterfront jetty in Entebbe where a private boat will be waiting to transfer you to Ngamba chimpanzee Island a 100 acre Island dedicated to conserving orphaned chimpanzees – there are currently 49 chimpanzees on Ngamba Island.
Your boat will arrive at the Island on time for the scheduled morning feeding session in which you can actively feed the chimpanzees whilst standing on a platform. Return to your Hotel for lunch. Afternoon at leisure.

DAY 03: TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
On day 3 we will transfer from Entebbe to Lake Mburo National Park. After lunch at the lodge, we will head out for an afternoon nature walk in the park.
The national park is home to 68 mammal species, including zebra, impala, buffalo, as well as 315 species of bird, one of which is the rare shoebill stork. Its sculptured landscape with rolling grassy hills and idyllic lakeshore has a varied mosaic of habitats – forest galleries, seasonal and permanent swamps and rich acacia wood valleys which all support a wealth of wildlife.

DAY 04: EXPLORE LAKE MBURO PARK
This morning, accompanied by an experienced guide, you will take on a horseback safari across the rolling plains of Lake Mburo National Park in search of the wildlife that abounds here.
In the afternoon, you have the option(s) to enjoy a boat trip on Lake Mburo to view the area’s hippo and birdlife population or laze at the lodge.
Special Note: For novice riders, shorter rides are available, or perhaps a game walk would be idle.

DAY 05: TRANSFER TO BWINDI FOREST
After our Breakfast today, we drive into the scenic Kigezi Highlands of southwestern Uganda and make our way to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This UNESCO World Heritage site is ancient and breathtakingly beautiful. Later this afternoon, we can relax at the lodge.

DAY 06: GORILLA TREKKING
Today’s Mountain Gorilla tracking is sure to be a highlight of your 8 Days Uganda trip. The gorillas we are allowed to track belong to either one of 18 habituated family groups. For up to five years each, these groups have undergone a delicate process called Gorilla Habituation that has gradually brought them to tolerate the presence of humans for a brief period of time every day.
The time taken to track the gorillas can be up to several hours and once they are located, our group will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them.

DAY 07: OPTIONAL SECOND GORILLA TREK / GOLDEN MONKEY TREK OR VISIT THE BATWA
This day is full of options for you to pick from…
- Take On a second gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Forest National park or Mgahinga Gorilla Park. ( Requires Additional USD600 per Person).
- Trek for the Golden Monkeys in Mgahinga Park. ( Requires Additional USD50 per person).
- Visit the Batwa Pygmies – the Original people of the forest. (Requires Additional USD80 per person).
- Climb up one of the three (03) Volcanoes. (Requires Additional USD80 per person).
- Enjoy the guided Gorge walk in Mgahinga Park (Requires Additional USD30 per person).

DAY 08: FLY BACK TO ENTEBBE
We will transfer to Kisoro Airstrip for a shared flight to Entebbe. Upon arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be met and transferred 10 minutes to the hotel for relaxation. (This is dependent on the time of your onward flight.) Later in the day, you will be transferred back to Entebbe airport to check in for our international departure flight.
