Getting to Jinja


  • From Entebbe, Jinja is approximately 123 kilometers – a Journey that takes about 2hr 50minutes by car. This drive however can get longer if you hit traffics peak hours of 1 pm and 4 pm. Ensure you plan your travel times well.
  • From Kampala, Jinja is a mere 83 kilometers and takes 1hr 30 minutes to get through this journey. Getting out of Kampala can be a hassle if you get your timings wrong – avoid peak hours of 7 am, 1 pm, and 4 pm.
