4 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari
Day 01: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park.
Meet your driver guide at Kigali International Airport and drive northwards through the beautiful majestic hills that characterize much of the landscape in Rwanda, gradually climbing to the base of the awesome volcanoes with about five (05) peaks visible. Check into your hotel / Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Drive time(s): Kigali – Musanze = 2-hours drive.
Overnight: Kinigi. | Accommodation: Muhabura Hotel (Budget). | Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge (Midrange). | Virunga Lodge (Upmarket).
Meal Plan: Lunch en route & Dinner (LD).
Day 02: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park.
Breakfast: thereafter with between 01-02 litres of bottled drinking water, a raincoat, a pair of long-sleeved shirt + trousers, good walking shoes, repellent, a camera with extra charged batteries and extra memory chips all packed up in a waterproof day-pack, your driver guide will transfer you to the Volcanoes Gorillas trekking briefing point. After the briefing, you will embark on the trek through the Volcanoes National Park in search of mountain gorillas. Upon finding them, you will be allowed up to 01-hour with them – viewing and photographing them.
In the afternoon, your driver-guide will transfer you to the Gorilla Guardians cultural Centre formerly known as Ibya’iwacu Cultural Centre where you will indulge in understanding the traditions, and culture of Rwanda. Return to your lodge for dinner & overnight.

Day 03: Golden monkey Tracking and transfer to Lake Kivu
Breakfast; you will then transfer to Volcanoes Park headquarters for a briefing ahead of this morning’s golden monkey tracking experience. Return to the lodge for lunch and thereafter check out of the lodge with all your belongings and embark on your journey westwards towards Gisenyi town – a vibrant offshore town bordering Rwanda and Dr.Congo.
Drive time(s): Musanze – Gisenyi = 1.5 -hours drive.
Overnight: Lake Kivu. | Accommodation: Discover Rwanda Hostel (Budget). | Paradis Malahide (Midrange). | Serena Lake Kivu Hotel (Upmarket).
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner (BLD).
Day 04: Boat trip Lake Kivu & transfer to Kigali.
Breakfast; thereafter take on a boat trip along the shores of the popular Lake Kivu. Return to the lodge for Lunch and thereafter check out with all your belongings and embark on your drive to Kigali Airport.
