Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge is built to cater to large groups. The Lodge offers en-suite 23 rooms. Most of the rooms have clear views of the Virunga Mountain while others are tucked under the lush bamboo cover hence the name “Lebambou”

  • Mountain Gorilla Trekking:

There are 10 habituated gorilla groups that can be visited by tourists. To visit these great apes, a gorilla permit is required. **Gorilla trekking permits in Rwanda cost USD1,500 per person to trek a group of habituated mountain gorillas in Volcanoes National Park.

  • Golden monkeys trekking

Golden monkeys trekking takes place in Volcanoes national park and at the same time 7:00 just like gorillas. These rare species are also listed as endangered – and Volcanoes national park currently has two habituated golden monkeys’ troops that are available for visiting by tourists in the park, both of which make about 80 members.

The cost of Golden monkeys trekking is USD100 per person.

  • Volcanoe Hiking

There are seven (07) volcanoes within the Virunga Massif. You can go mountain climbing in the Volcanoes National Park.

  • Bisoke Hiking.
  • Karisimbi Hiking.

The Cost to hike any one of the two (02) vocanoes is USD75 per person.

  • Dian Fossey Hike

Trekking to the Dian Fossey Tomb is one of the most sought after safari activities carried out while visiting Volcanoes national park for a gorilla trip. The trek involves a 30 minutes drive from the park headquarters to the trail head to access the Karisoke research camp where visitors walk for 10 minutes to the park boundary.

Hiking up the Dian Fossey trail he cost is USD75 per person.
