Day 01: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Breakfast; thereafter you will meet your driver-guide for the 5 Days Gorillas & Wildlife Safari for a precise briefing about your trip. You will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park with an en-route stop at the Equator for photography, and later on, stop in Mbarara for lunch. Thereafter you will continue to your lodge arriving on time for Check – In.

Optional: Depending on how you feel after the ±6 hours drive from Kampala/Entebbe to get to Queen Elizabeth National park, you may choose to joi9n your guide on an afternoon (04:00 pm) game drive to search for wildlife or you could opt to stay back at the lodge and relax.

Day 02: Morning game drive _ afternoon Boat Safari on the Kazinga Channel

Breakfast: thereafter drive to Kasenyi Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park popular with Morning game drives in search for wildlife. Return to the lodge for lunch, and thereafter you will drive towards Mweya peninsular where your boat safari on the Kazinga channel will start your boat trip is scheduled to depart at 4:00 pm – subject to availability at the time of booking this tour. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 03: Transfer from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Forest National Park.

Breakfast; thereafter check out of the lodge with all your belongings and embark on your journey to Bwindi Forest National Park – Lunch en route, and arriving on time for check-in at your lodge.

• Gorilla Forest Camp | Bwindi Lodge | Buhoma Lodge or Mahogany Springs (Upmarket).
• Silverback Lodge | Egagi Lodge | Haven Lodge (Midarnge).
• Ride for a Woman | Buhoma Rest Camp (Budget).

Day 04: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest National Park

Breakfast; thereafter confirm that you have all the basics; a lunch box (to be provided by the Lodge), raincoat, good hiking boots, waterproof pants + long-sleeved shirt, a pair of strong garden gloves, repellent, a waterproof daypack to carry all your valuables. 

Your guide will thereafter transfer you to the briefing point and also help you out through the registration process. After the briefing by a Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger, you will embark on your long-awaited Gorilla trekking experience.

Return to the lodge and relax.

Day 05: Transfer back to Entebbe/Kampala or Kigali

Breakfast; and today marks the end of your 5 Day Uganda gorilla and chimpanzee trekking Safari. With all your bags your guide Will then transfer you to Entebbe or nearby Kigali International airport for your onward return flight. (this must have been pre-planned).

Drive time(s):

Bwindi to Kigali = ±5 hours.

Bwindi to Entebbe = ±9 hours.

Accommodation: Not included on this Day – but can be arranged at EXTRA cost – if needed.

End of Service – 5 Days Gorillas & Wildlife Safari in Uganda

Things to note if you opt to end your trip to Kigali.

• Ensure you apply for an East African Tourist Visa – valid for 90 days at a cost of $100 – admits you to Uganda, Rwanda & Kenya.
• Ensure your Departure flight is clearly marked to fly out from Kigali International airport.
• Please make it a point to pre-inform us about your intentions to finish the tour in Kigali.

Our Vans have an open roof that offers a 360° animal view allowing for photography while on safari.

For our upmarket clients that wish to enjoy the Superior comfort of traveling in our state of art Toyota land cruiser, we can upgrade you at an extra charge of US$190 per day

All our land cruisers come fully air-conditioned and with a cool box fully packed with complimentary en route drinks and snacks. The trucks all have large windows and an open roof that offers a 360° animal view allowing for photography while on safari.
