    East African Tourist VisaUganda Visa now Online – You must apply online prior to Travel. Ensure to print your confirmation letter in triplicate – 3 copies, bring your passport and Or any other relevant documentation to back your Uganda Online Visa Confirmation. For now, Uganda Visas are issued at your Entry Point (BUT you Must have applied online Prior to your travel here – ensure you have a confirmation for your Uganda Tourist Visa – sent/received via email – comes with a bar code which qualifies you for a Uganda Visa.

    Special Note: The East African Tourist Visa – US$100 is still underway, and the systems are getting better by the day, however, the payment systems are still lacking. Carry Cash – US$100 (if you applied for a multiple Entry East African tourist visa to more than one (01) country – Uganda- Rwanda & Kenya. If only Visiting Uganda, the Uganda Tourist Visa will cost you just a mere US$50.  Payment for your visa can be made on arrival and is by Cash.

We advise all travellers to Uganda to apply – get an East African Tourist Visa – US$100 or a Uganda Tourist Visa US$50 online prior to travelling to Uganda.


  • Rwanda ” the Country of a thousand Hills” 

    East African Tourist Visa All Rwanda Visa applications are done online via the Rwanda Immigration website. Similarly to Uganda, make it very clear while applying that you want the East African Tourist Visa instead of Rwandan visa.  US, UK, Canadians, those from Singapore and other countries used to enter without getting a visa, now there is a fee for them at the entry point(s) of US$30. This still leaves the East African Tourist Visa as your best travel visa whilst visiting Uganda, Rwanda & Kenya – Saves you money and the repeated hassle at the respective border crossings.

  • Kenya

    East African Tourist VisaKenya made some moves in regards to tourist visas – including the East African Tourist Visa that was rescinded by the president.  Below is the link to the Kenyan immigration site – where it states that application and information will be coming soon.  However, it is best you apply in your country with the Kenyan Embassy if Kenya is your first destination in East Africa.  Most often that can be done on-line. Kenya East African Visa


  • TANZANIA:

    East African Tourist VisaTanzania has been having holdouts when it comes to the East African Visa.  Tanzania now has a new President – John Magufuli who may change all of that, he is a quite practical, hands-on sort of President.

 

 

Up- Dates – 20/May/2016; Tanzania Joins East African Tourist Visa.

As of April 5, Tanzania has joined the visa program. This is great news if you plan to visit these countries in the near future, however, the Tanzania government has not posted this information on their website yet which leads us to believe that the details are still being finalised.

Burundi is also expected to eventually join the program but has not to date.


East Africa Tourist visa costs only US$100. The Visa is a multiple entry visa valid for 90 days. If you are travelling to 02 or more of these countries ( Uganda, Rwanda & Kenya, the East African Tourist Visa is not best travel choice that will save you money, as getting separate visas for each country will cost you at least US$50/country.
