7 Days Murchison Falls & Gorillas
Day 01: Transfer to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary
You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Entebbe and drive to zziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will arrive in time for check-in and lunch at the Amuka Lodge. In the late afternoon, your guide will transfer you to the briefing point where you will meet up with your rhino tracking ranger for a Briefing about the sanctuary and Rhino tracking. Thereafter you’ll go on a life-changing guided walking safari to find the rhinos. After finding them, you will then return to the Lodge of dinner & overnight.

Day 02: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park with a stop at Budongo forest for Chimp tracking.
Breakfast at the lodge restaurant and be ready to leave for Budongo Forest by 7:00 am to be on time for your chimpanzee tracking briefing at 08:00 am. Enjoy your guided chimpanzee walk in the company of an experience chimpanzee tracking ranger guide. return to base for lunch, and thereafter we will continue to marvel at the Falls from which the park borrows its name ” Murchison Falls National Park”. The Murchison Falls is arguably the world’s most powerful falls – with well over 300 cubic meters of water gasping through a 7-meter gap and dropping 43 meters to form the spectacular Murchison Falls.

Day 03: Full Day Fishing on the Nile
Breakfast; thereafter go for a Full day fishing expedition on the great Nile river. You will spend most of your day fishing at the Devil’s Cauldron – the best fishing spot on the Nile river inside Murchison falls national Park.
Remember, Fishing inside Murchison falls National Park operates on a catch and release policy – You can take as many photos with your catch but can’t take it to your hotel as dinner.

Day 04: Morning game drive, afternoon boat safari on the Nile.
This morning you will join your Realm Africa Safari guide on a game drive in search of wildlife. return to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will go on a boat safari on the Nile that leads you to the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls National Park.

Day 05: Fly to Bwindi.
This morning you will check out of your lodge in Murchison falls national park and drive a short distance to get to the airfield where you’ll get onto a flight to Kihihi airport. On arrival at Kihihi, you’ll be met by a Realm Africa safaris representative who will meet, greet and assist with your bags. You will then embark on a drive to your lodge in Bwindi. The drive from kihihi to Buhoma (Bwindi) will take about 1hr 15mins. Arrive, have lunch, and check-in at your lodge. The afternoon is relaxed but you can choose to wander around with the community.

Day 06: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest
Breakfast; thereafter confirm that you have all the basics; a lunch box (to be provided by the Lodge), raincoat, good hiking boots, waterproof pants + long-sleeved shirt, a pair of strong garden gloves, repellent, a waterproof daypack to carry all your valuables.
Your guide will thereafter transfer you to the briefing point and also help you out through the registration process. After the briefing by a Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger, you will embark on your long-awaited Gorilla trekking experience. Return to the lodge and relax.

Day 07: Fly back to Entebbe
Breakfast; thereafter check out of the lodge with all your belongings and embark on your journey to Kihihi airport – arriving in time for your scheduled local flight back to Entebbe.
Flight time: Kisoro to Entebbe ± 1hr 35minute (Subject to prevailing weather conditions & aircraft routing*)
Drive time(s): Bwindi lodge to Kihihi = ± 80 minutes – scenic drive.
