Itinerary – Day by Day
ITINERARY (DAY BY DAY) – 3 Day Low Season Discounted Uganda Gorilla Safari Holiday Tour
DAY 01: TRANSFER TO BWINDI FOREST
Breakfast; thereafter you will meet your driver-guide for the 3 Day Low Season Discounted Uganda Gorilla Safari Holiday Tour to Bwindi Forest. The drive to Bwindi Forest usually lasts 9 -10 hours, we, therefore, recommend departing your hotel at 7:00 am prompt.
You will stop at the equator for coffee or souvenir shopping and photography (don’t forget to Have your picture taken at the Equator). Thereafter you will proceed with the drive to Mbarara town where you will stop for lunch. Continue to Bwindi arriving in the late afternoon on time for check-in, dinner and overnight.
Journey time: 9 – 10 hours drive.

Budget: Buhoma Rest camp – Basic community owned camp – located inside the Park – Remarkable views of the Forest.
Meal Plan: Lunch & Dinner (LD).
DAY 02: GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI FOREST
Breakfast: thereafter with a packed lunch box, 02 litres of bottled drinking water, a raincoat, a pair of long sleeved shirt + trousers, good hiking boot, a pair of garden Gloves, repellent, a camera with extra charged batteries and extra memory chips all packed up in a waterproof daypack, your driver guide will transfer you to the briefing point. After the briefing, you will embark on the trek through Bwindi forest in search for the mountain gorillas. Gorilla trekking can be strenuous to even the most physically fit – we recommend that you hire a porter (extra cost not included in the tour price) to help you carry your daypack and also give you a hand during your trek – read more ” Why to Use a porter for gorilla trekking“. Upon getting to the mountain gorillas, you will be allowed up to 01-hour with the mountain gorillas – viewing and photographing them. Return to the Lodge – relax and unwind to the memories Of gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable forest.

Our Vans have an open roof that offers a 360° animal view allowing for photography while on safari.
Our Vans take a maximum of 06 passengers each with the privilege of having a personal window seat.
UPGRADE: 4X4 SAFARI CUSTOMIZED LANDCRUISER
For our upmarket clients that wish to enjoy the extra comfort of traveling in our state of art Toyota land cruiser, we can upgrade you at an extra charge of US$170 per day
Our land cruisers come fully air conditioned and with a cool box fully packed with complimentary en route drinks and snacks. The trucks all have large windows and an open roof that offers a 360° animal view allowing for photography while on safari.

Add-On Options to Consider adding to your 3 Day Low Season Uganda Gorilla Safari Holiday Tour.
Instead of the usual 01-hour gorilla viewing time. You could opt to go for the full day Gorilla Habituation Experience which allows you 4-hours with wild mountain gorillas in the Rushaga area of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. If you choose Gorilla habituation, then there will be an extra charge on the permits and accommodation – Gorilla habituation permits cost US$1500 each. Forego long drive times from Entebbe or Kampala and fly into Kigali – Rwanda where it is just a 5-hours drive to Rushaga area of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Versus the long 09+-hour drive from Entebbe, Uganda.

TRIP OVERVIEW – 03 DAYS MURCHISON FALLS SAFARI
Our 3 Days Murchison Falls Safari visits Uganda’s Largest National Park. While on this safari you will have the opportunity to experience a game safari, a boat trip to the bottom Murchison Falls and a hike to the top of the falls.
Murchison Falls National Park boasts of the largest population of Nile crocodiles, 76 mammals, over 450 bird species including the Shoebill Stork, dwarf king fisher, great blue turaco the white thighed hornbill, and the Goliath heron. While in on a Murchison Falls Safari, you will also enjoy the game safaris, and boat trips on the River Nile.

3 DAYS MURCHISON FALLS SAFARI
DAY 01: TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS VIA ZZIWA SANCTUARY
Early (06:30 am) start from Entebbe to zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for your Rhino tracking Experience. Lunch en route. Continue into Murchison falls NP driving to the Top of the falls where you will meet a Uganda Wildlife Authority Ranger who will lead you on a guided walk to the bottom of the falls. At the bottom of the falls, a private boat will be waiting to transfer you to your lodge – enjoy an en route boat safari with many animals sighting expected
little About Rhino Tracking In Uganda
Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary was opened in 2005 by the Rhino Fund Uganda after poachers and civil unrest had claimed the last batch of Rhinos in 1983. The Rhino Sanctuary is a breeding center of hope for white Rhinos in Uganda. Currently, the Zziwa Sanctuary boasts of over 19 Rhinos many of which were born In Uganda. There is a plan to re-introduce them back to Murchison Falls National Park & far-flung Kidepo Valley National Park. DAY 02: GAME DRIVE(s) IN MURCHISON FALLS NP
Breakfast at 6:00 am, transfer to the ferry on time for the 7:00 am crossing from the Southern bank to the Northern Paraa Bank where you will embark on a game drive through the savannah plains Of Murchison falls NP. Return to your lodge for Lunch, and an afternoon siesta.
Optional: In the afternoon, you may opt to join your guide for yet another game drive or stay at the lodge and enjoy a dip in the pool or read a book.
