3 Days Flying Safari to Buhoma Region ( Northern Sector of Bwindi Forest)
Day 01: Fly from Entebbe to Kihihi, Road transfer to Buhoma Region ( Northern sector of Bwindi Forest National Park)
This morning we will pick you up from your hotel in Entebbe as early as 6:15 am and transfer you to Entebbe International Airport (check-in at 06:30 am) where you will catch a scheduled flight aboard aerolink Uganda to Kihihi. On arrival at Kihihi airport, you will be welcomed by a Realm Africa Safaris™ representative who will assis t you with the luggage, and thereafter they will drive you to Buhoma Region. The drive from Kihihi to buhoma region is approximately 40km/25miles and will take about 1hour 20 minutes.
Journey time:
- Flight Entebbe to Kihihi – 1hour 45 minutes.
- Kihihi to Buhoma – 1hour 20 minutes.

Day 02: Gorilla trekking in Buhoma Region ( Northern Sector of Bwindi forest National Park)
Breakfast; thereafter confirm that you have all the basics; a lunch box (to be provided by the Lodge), raincoat, good hiking boots, waterproof pants + long-sleeved shirt, a pair of strong garden gloves, repellent, a waterproof daypack to carry all your valuables.
Your guide will thereafter transfer you to the briefing point and also help you out through the registration process. After the briefing by a Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger, you will embark on your long-awaited Gorilla trekking experience. Return to the lodge and relax.

Things to note about this 3 Days Flying Safari to Buhoma Region
- This trip starts & finishes in Entebbe. Speak to us about the possibility of finishing in Kigali. (Prior flight – ground handling planning is important).
- Unless intending to fly into Uganda and out through Kigali, the ordinary Uganda tourist visa costs USD50 should Suffice. If you plan on flying out through Kigali, we recommend getting the East African Tourist Visa – USD100 – Valid 90 Days – admits you to Uganda & Rwanda.
- Kigali is ±5 hours drive from Kigali – a lot shorter than driving back to Entebbe from Bwindi ±9 hours – carefully decide where you want to start. Feel free to speak to us for advice.
