Itinerary – Day by Day
ITINERARY (DAY BY DAY) – 3 DAY FLY-IN UGANDA GORILLA HABITUATION SAFARI.
DAY 01: TRANSFER TO BWINDI FOREST
Breakfast; thereafter you will meet your driver-guide who will transfer you to Entebbe Airport for your scheduled local flight to Kisoro. On arrival at Kisoro airstrip, you will be met by our company representative who Will transfer you by Road to your lodge (45 minutes) arriving Ontime for Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon at leisure -as you marvel at the un-ending scenery of the Forest.
Flight time: Entebbee Airport to Kisoro Airstrip = 01-hour 30 minutes.
Drive time(s): Kisoro Airstrip to the lodge = 45 minutes.

Meal Plan: Lunch & Dinner (LD).
DAY 02: GORILLA HABITUATION IN BWINDI FOREST
Breakfast: thereafter with a between 01-02 litres of bottled drinking water, a raincoat, a pair of long sleeved shirt + trousers, good walking shoes, repellent, a camera with extra charged batteries and extra memory chips all packed up in a waterproof day-pack, your driver guide will transfer you to the Bwindi Forest briefing point. After the briefing, you will embark on the trek through Bwindi forest in search for wild Mountain Gorillas. Upon finding the Wild Gorilla group under going habituation, you will be allowed up to 04-hours with them – viewing and photographing them. Return to the Lodge – relax and unwind to the memories Gorilla Habituation In Bwindi Forest National Park – The Best Place to See Mountain Gorillas in Africa.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Packed Lunch & Dinner (BLD).
DAY 03: FLY BACK TO ENTEBBE OR TRANSFER BY ROAD TO KIGALI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.
Breakfast; thereafter check out of the lodge with all your belongings and transfer to Kisoro Airstrip for your scheduled local flight back to Entebbe.

STANDARD OFFER: 4X4 SAFARI CUSTOMIZED MINI VAN
Our standard mode of transportation is Road transport with the use of 4×4 Safari Customized Vans as our standard offering.
Our Vans have an open roof that offers a 360° animal view allowing for photography while on safari.
Our Vans take a maximum of 06 passengers each with the privilege of having a personal window seat.
UPGRADE: 4X4 SAFARI CUSTOMIZED LANDCRUISER
For our upmarket clients that wish to enjoy the extra comfort of traveling in our state of art Toyota land cruiser, we can upgrade you at an extra charge of US$170 per day
Our land cruisers come fully air conditioned and with a cool box fully packed with complimentary en route drinks and snacks. The trucks all have large windows and an open roof that offers a 360° animal view allowing for photography while on safari.

Add-On Options to Consider adding to your 5 Day Uganda Gorilla and chimpanzee Trekking Safari.
Instead of the usual 01-hour gorilla viewing time. You could opt to go for the full day Gorilla Habituation Experience which allows you 4-hours with wild mountain gorillas in the Rushaga area of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. If you choose Gorilla habituation, then there will be an extra charge on the permits and accommodation – Gorilla habituation permits cost US$1500 each. Forego long drive times from Entebbe or Kampala and fly into Kigali – Rwanda where it is just a 5-hours drive to Rushaga area of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Versus the long 09+-hour drive from Entebbe, Uganda.
You can extend your 5 Day Uganda Gorilla and chimpanzee Trekking Safari to 09 days with Gorilla and Chimpanzee Tracking, wildlife game drives and a boat Safari all at an affordable Low season April, May & November discount rate. Low season gorilla permits cost USD450, and Low Season Chimpanzee permits cost USD100.
