The minimum age for Golden Monkey Trekking in Uganda is 12 years. A permit is required for every person trekking Golden Monkeys, and this costs;
- Foreign non-residents – $40 per person/permit.
- Foreign Residents – $30 per person/permit.
- East African Citizens – Uganda Shillings (UGX) 20,000 per person/permit.
