Day 01: Entebbe to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
You will be met by your guide from Realm Africa Safaris™ for a Briefing about your gorilla tour to Mgahinga, and thereafter embark on the drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park from Entebbe. The journey from Entebbe to Mgahinga National Park is approximately 500km and lasts ± 9 hours. The short, quickest, and most affordable way to get to Mgahinga would be to fly into Kigali (instead of Entebbe) and only 4 hours to get to Mgahinga National Park. You’ll arrive at your lodge/hotel in time for lunch and check-in. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure as you wait on your next days’ gorilla trekking experience.

±4.5-Hours from Kigali to Mgahinga.

Day 02: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi forest National Park
Breakfast; thereafter confirm that you have all the basics; a lunch box (to be provided by the Lodge), raincoat, good hiking boots, waterproof pants + long-sleeved shirt, a pair of strong garden gloves, repellent, a waterproof daypack to carry all your valuables.
Your guide will thereafter transfer you to the briefing point and also help you out through the registration process. After the briefing by a Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger, you will embark on your long-awaited Gorilla trekking experience. Return to the lodge and relax.

Day 03: Transfer from Mgahinga National Park back to Entebbe or Kigali.

With all your bags your guide will then transfer you back to Entebbe or Kigali International airport for your onward return flight.

Things to note about this 3 Days BSafari to Mgahinga National Park
- This trip starts & finishes in either. Speak to us about the possibility of finishing in Kigali. (Prior flight – ground handling planning is important).
- Unless intending to flying into Uganda and out through Kigali, the ordinary Uganda tourist visa costs USD50 should Suffice. If you plan on flying out through Kigali, we recommend getting the East African Tourist Visa – USD100 – Valid 90 Days – admits you to Uganda & Rwanda.
- Kigali is ±4.5 hours drive from Kigali – a lot shorter than driving back to Entebbe from Bwindi ±9 hours – carefully decide where you want to start. Feel free to speak to us for advice.
