Travel After COVID-19 - Kenya Safari

Kenya

Kenya is the oldest, and supposedly the most “well-known” safari destination. Less well known is that on a contemporary safari, you can lose yourself for days to end, untroubled by crowds, communing with the bush and its inhabitants in an almost religious experience.

In northern Kenya, Samburu, Shaba and Buffalo Springs Game Reserves join LewaBorana, Ol Pejeta and a belt of community-owned conservancies to deliver huge skies, exquisite accommodation, and superlative game viewing, while the more remote parts of the Masai Mara offer incredible encounters with wildlife in an isolation not commonly thought possible here. Meru is a wild “frontier” national park, better known, through Born Free, for the Adamsons and their pioneering predator relocations in the 1960′s.

The sheer size of Tanzania and the so many things to see & Do in Tanzania make this country worthwhile a visit in 2021 – after COVID-19 has been contained. Travel after COVID-19

Rwanda Travel after COVID-19

Rwanda is tiny, and a leisurely safari- Holiday around the entire country will not take more than 10 days. For all its small size, the country has a lot more to offer than one looking at it on a Map would rather imagine.

The main attraction is the mountains of the iconic Volcanoes National Park, a line of mesmerizing peaks that are the home of mountain gorillas and other highly endangered animals. In the southern part is the biological hotspot of the Nyungwe Forest, and in the East, almost at the border with Tanzania lie the savannas and lakes of the Akagera National Park. For loads of interaction with Rwandan people and a glimpse into how Rwanda aims to face the future, Kigali and Lake Kivu are a perfect counterpoint to each other.

Accommodation in Rwanda varies from Budget, midrange to sheer Luxury. Rwanda’s paved roads make travel around Rwanda a pleasure and the network of helicopter routes turn inter-park transfers into delightful scenic flights that we often like to consider if time is a constraint for our client.
