September is Not the ideal time to go gorilla trekking unless you are willing to put up with the challenges that come with it raining anytime, and the trails being slippery. The roads will be equally challenging (not impossible) to navigate. When at Bwindi or Mgahinga, we recommend taking a local porter, and a walking stick  – these are your best ally to a successful gorilla trekking.
