Day 1 – Arrival into Entebbe
On arrival at Entebbe, you will be met by a uniformed Realm Africa Safaris™ representative who will greet and assist transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. At your Guesthouse today, you are booked on Bed & Breakfast. Meals can be ordered at the Guesthouse for EXTRA.

Day 02: Transfer to Kibale Forest
After breakfast, your guide will then transfer you to Kibale forest National park – 6 hours drive from Entebbe. Lunch Enroute, and continue to your lodge located inside Kibale Forest National Park.

Day 03 – Chimp Trekking In Kibale Forest
Breakfast; thereafter stroll down in the company of your guide to the Briefing point – 03 minutes away from your lodge. Here you will meet a group of other tourists going to trek chimps. A Uganda Wildlife Ranger will Brief you on the do’s & don’t’s with emphasis on Rules & Regulations which you Must adhere to while on this trek. After the briefing, you will then head out into the forest to track chimps – typically returning after 02 – 03 hours.
Lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, your guide will pick you up from the lodge and drive you to the Bigodi Conservation office where you will meet your local guide for the afternoon Bigodi Swamp walk – yet another rewarding walk through a swamp with chance of spotting primates like; Red Colobus Monkeys, Gray Cheeked Mangabey’s, L’Hoest Monkeys, Vervet Monkeys, Blue Monkeys, Baboons, Black and White Colobus, Red Colobus, and the occasional Chimpanzees. The Swamp also boasts of a bird list of up to 138 species. Return to the lodge before sunset.

Day 04 – Transfer to Bwindi Forest
Breakfast; thereafter checkout with all your belongings, and embark on a drive to Bwindi Forest National park arriving on time for a Hot Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 05 – Gorilla Trekking In Bwindi Forest
Breakfast; thereafter your guide will accompany you to the briefing point where you will meet other tourists joining you on the trek today. A Uganda wildlife authority ranger will brief you on the basics of gorilla trekking with emphasis on the rules & regulations which you must adhere to while on this trek. Thereafter you will begin your trek Into Gorilla filled Forest of Bwindi – there is over 500 Gorilla roaming this Forest. Gorilla Trekking lasts between 45minutes to 6 hours depending on where you find the Gorillas. You will be allowed 01 Hour viewing and photographing the gorillas. Thereafter you will return to the lodge.

*Typically up to 08 tourists are allowed to trek a gorilla group.

Day 06 – Fly or drive back to Entebbe.
Breakfast; thereafter you will embark on the long drive back to Entebbe. The drive from Bwindi to Entebbe typically lasts ±9 hours and can be tiring. It is for this reason that we recommend flying back from Bwindi Forest – of course flying back has an extra cost added to your trip budget.
*If your budget and time permits, you could consider breaking the long drive with an overnight stay at Lake Mburo National Park.
*This flight has a luggage limit of 15Kg per person all packed up in a soft duffel bag.
