Uganda Gorilla Permit Price Increased from USD600 to USD700, Bwindi Gorilla Permits Cost USD700, Mgahinga Gorilla Permits Cost USD700, Gorilla Permit Price In Uganda will Increase to USD700 effective 01/July/2020
There is no doubt that effective 01st/July/2020, all foreign non-resident Travelers will have to part with USD700 to buy a Uganda Gorilla Tracking Permit to see Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi Forest, and or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. This increment of Uganda Gorilla Permit Fees from USD600 to USD700 was announced by the Uganda Wildlife Authority in a closed-door consultative meeting with the Association of Uganda Tour Operators – AUTO.
The decision to increase Uganda Gorilla Permit fees from USD600 to USD700 in 2020 comes way long after neighboring Rwanda doubled its prices from USD750 to a ridiculous USD1500. However, Uganda Wildlife Authority, unlike RDB, has creatively packaged its planned Gorilla Permit Increment to Include a complimentary free-of-charge (Park fees waived) visit to either Semuliki National Park or Mount Elgon – This definitely makes 2020 Gorilla Safaris in Uganda a great Value product.

The above increment in Uganda Gorilla Permit Fees for the year 2020 and beyond, not only applies to Foreign Non -residents but also Foreign residents/expats living and or working in Uganda.
