Gorilla Trekking Safaris In Uganda take place in Bwindi Forest National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. The Bwindi forest is home to approximately 480 mountain gorillas – 12 habituated Gorilla Families with 96 Gorilla trekking Permits available each day at USD600. Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi Forest can be trekked in 04 different Regions; Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga & Nkuringo Gorilla Trekking Regions.
Mgahinga Gorilla National Park has 80 Mountain gorilla – 01 habituated Gorilla Family with only 08 gorilla Permits available each day. Unlike Bwindi Forest, Mgahinga offers a more private gorilla Trekking Safari experience limited to a maximum of 8 Visitors. This small park is also a gem with so many other Things to see & do in Mghahinga besides Mountian Gorilla Trekking
