Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) has a couple of Fun things for Kids to do on a Safari to Mgahinga National Park. Children under the age of 15 years are not allowed to trek gorillas. However, they can enjoy these top three (03) activities;

- A Painting and Artwork Experience.
What is the cost of doing these three (03) fun activities In Mgahinga National Park?
The Scouts Adventure experience in Mgahinga National Park costs $10 for both foreign Non-residents and Residents, and UGX20,000 per person for East Africans.
The painting and artwork experience also costs $10 per person for both Foreign non-residents and Residents, and UGX20,000 per person for East Africans.
Finally, the short guided nature Walk costs $5 per person for both Foreign non-residents and Residents and UGX 10,000 per person for East Africans.
Is there a chance of getting my 14-year-old child to Trek Gorillas in Mgahinga?
Children below 15 years of age may also be allowed to gorilla trekking if they are accompanied by parents. The ”UWA” Uganda Wildlife Authority will require a parent to sign an indemnity form to protect the organization from responsibility in case of any problem during gorilla trekking.
