Murchison Falls National Park boasts of the largest population of Nile crocodiles, 76 mammals, over 450 bird species including the Shoebill Stork, dwarf kingfisher, great blue turaco the white thighed hornbill, and the Goliath heron. While on a Murchison Falls Safari, you will also enjoy the game safaris and boat trips on the River Nile.

Day 01: Transfer to Murchison Falls Via Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe / Kampala; thereafter drive towards Murchison Falls National Park with an en route stop at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino Tracking. Lunch after tracking, and then drive to Murchison Falls National Park arriving at your lodge in time for check-in, dinner, and overnight accommodation.
A little About Rhino Tracking In Uganda
Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary was opened in 2005 by the Rhino Fund Uganda after poachers and civil unrest had claimed the last batch of Rhinos in 1983. The Rhino Sanctuary is a breeding center of hope for white Rhinos in Uganda. Currently, the Zziwa Sanctuary boasts of over 19 Rhinos many of which were born In Uganda. There is a plan to re-introduce them back to Murchison Falls National Park & far-flung Kidepo Valley National Park. Day 02: Morning game drive + Afternoon Boat safari to the Falls
Breakfast; thereafter go for a morning game safari inside the heart of Murchison Falls National Park in search of lions, leopards, giraffe, elephants, Kobs, oribis and over 460 bird species roam this beautiful park. return to your Lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will go on a Murchison falls boat safari to the Falls. This trip on the River Nile can be very rewarding with numerous sights of hippo, Buffaloes, elephants and of course the Nile crocodile.
OPTIONAL : (ADD US$15)
You might opt to hike up to the top of Murchison Falls on a well-built trail in the company of Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guide. This 5 Km hike can, however, be strenuous so we recommend fair fitness levels for travelers Intending to do this hike.
