- Day 01: Depart Entebbe for Ngamba Island at the Waterfront Beach.
- Day 02: Guided Nature Walk, Return to Entebbe Mainland – End of the trip.
Detailed Itinerary (Day by Day)
DAY 01: From Entebbe Mainland, transfer to Ngamba Island
We will pick you up from your hotel in Entebbe ( out of Entebbe pickups cost extra) and transfer you to the Water Front beach where your boat will be waiting to transfer you to Ngamba Island – a journey that lasts approximately 90 minutes using a traditional motorised Canoe. ( Alternatively, you may opt to take a speed boat which takes 45-50 minutes from Entebbe or Even getting there by helicopter – both alternatives will cost Extra.
On arrival at Ngamab Island, you will be given a debrief on what & how things happen on the Island, and later you will join in with a team of caregivers and you will take part in today’s afternoon feeding session – keep your camera close for photography purposes. After this, you will be checked into your accommodation at Ngamba Island Tented camp overlooking the Majestic Lake Victoria – Largest freshwater Lake in Africa, and second-largest in the world after Lake Superior in North America.
Journey time: ±90 minutes from the waterfront beach in Entebbe.
Accommodation: Ngamba Island Tented Camp | Meals Included: Lunch, & Dinner at the Lodge.
Day 02: Guided Nature walk, and thereafter Depart for Entebbe Mainaland
Breakfast; thereafter you will go on a guided nature walk with your Island guide. expect to see lots of birds, Nile monitor lizard and the spotted otters along the shoreline – remember to carry your camera for photography purposes. Alternatively, you may choose from the list of things to see & do on Ngamba Island. The activities will each cost an extra (not included in the tour Price) – pay directly with the hotel Management. After your activity this morning, you will then depart for Entebbe on a motorised canoe – a journey that will take roundabout 90 minutes. Realm Africa Safaris™ will then drop you off at your hotel in Entebbe ( Drop-offs outside Entebbe may cost Extra).

Getting from Entebbe Mainland to Ngamba Island:
Our standard offer for Lake transfers from Entebbe Water Front Beach will be a motorised wooden canoe which takes about 90 minutes to connect from the Entebbe Mainland to Ngamba Island.
However, we are pleased to inform you that the alternative means of getting from Entebbe Mainland to Entebbe that take a short time but will cost EXTRA.
By Helicopter: This takes about 20 minutes from Either Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi airfield. The Flight, however, carries a maximum of four (04) Passengers.
By Speed Boat: This takes about 45 – 50 Minutes and the charge might cost an EXTRA fee of 1 – 3 million Uganda Shillings depending on the number and size of your travel group.
