Ngamba Island Tented Camp tented camp is a small camp comprised of four (01) Luxury tents individually built on wooden platforms overlooking the spectacular Lake Victoria.
Ngamba Island Tented Camp was setup and operates under uncompromising ecological policies of the Chimpanzee Trust (formerly Chimpanzee Sanctuary and Wildlife Conservation Trust – abbreviated as CSWCT). All the four (04) Luxury tents enjoy an uninterrupted view of the Lake, are solar lit, use bush showers and eco-toilets, Chimpanzee Trust’s unending commitment to conserving & preserve nature.
What to expect about the food & drinks at Ngamba Island Tented Camp.
Ngamba Island Tented Camp chefs prepare and serve substantial meals with several courses for dinner and local specialties such as fish(from Lake Victoria) served whenever possible. Hot beverages including tea and coffee are available at all times on a self-serve basis.
Cold drinks are available on a cash sale basis including water, sodas and beers. A basic selection of wines and spirits are available from the cash bar and anyone requiring anything else is welcome to bring it along with them.
