Day 01: Entebbe to Bwindi forest National Park
Breakfast; thereafter depart your Hotel at 8:00 am and embark on the drive to Bwindi Forest National Park from Entebbe. The journey from Entebbe to Bwindi Forest National Park is approximately 500km and lasts ± 9 hours. Lunch en-route, and continue to Bwindi arriving in the evening. Check-in, dinner and overnight your lodge.
Journey time: ±9-Hours from Entebbe.

Day 02: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi forest National Park
Breakfast; thereafter confirm that you have all the basics; a lunch box (included in the Price), raincoat, good hiking boots, waterproof pants + long-sleeved shirt, a pair of strong garden gloves, repellent, a waterproof daypack to carry all your valuables.
Your guide will thereafter transfer you to the briefing point and also help you out through the registration process. After the briefing by a Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger, you will embark on your long-awaited Gorilla trekking experience. Return to the lodge and relax.

Day 03: Transfer from Bwindi Forest National Park to Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth NP.
With all your bags your guide will then transfer you to Ishasha sector of the great queen Elizabeth national park – the best place to see tree climbing lions In East Africa.

Day 04: explore Ishasha Sector.
After breakfast, your guide will then accompany you on a morning game drive safari inside the Park. You will have to sharpen your eyes (don’t squint them) in search of the tree-climbing lions. On your search for lions, you will encounter a lot more other wildlife including topi (after which your lodge is named), jackals, elephants, buffaloes, and on a lucky day, you might spot the elusive leopards of the Ishasha sector. Return to your lodge for lunch and a siesta.
In the later afternoon, you may opt to relax at your lodge and enjoy the view from your private balcony or venture into another game drive through the Ishasha plains.

Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe
After Breakfast, you will check out of your hotel with all your belongings and embark on the drive to Entebbe. The drive will last about ±7hours or more depending on the traffic you might meet as you approach Kampala.
Alternatively (Not included in the Price), you may consider taking a flight with either Aerolink Uganda or Fly Uganda from Kihihi Airstrip (20 minutes drive from Topi lodge). The flight from Kihihi to Entebbe will last about 2 hours depending on the routing of the plane.
Things to note about this 5 Days Budget Safari to Bwindi and Ishasha
- This trip starts & finishes in Entebbe. Speak to us about the possibility of finishing in Kigali. (Prior flight – ground handling planning is important).
- Unless intending to flying into Uganda and out through Kigali, the ordinary Uganda tourist visa costs USD50. If you plan on flying out through Kigali, we recommend getting the East African Tourist Visa – USD100 – Valid 90 Days – admits you to Uganda & Rwanda.
- Kigali is ±5 hours drive from Kigali – a lot shorter than driving back to Entebbe from Bwindi ±9 hours – carefully decide where you want to start. Feel free to speak to us for advice.
