BRIEF ITINERARY:
- Day 01: Arusha/Moshi to Tarangire NP
- Day 02: Full day Game drives
- Day 03: Transfer back to Arusha/Moshi – End of the Safari
Detailed Itinerary (Day by Day)
Day 1: Arusha/Moshi to Tarangire National park.
Today we drive to Tarangire National Park, for excellent game viewing. Tarangire is a small park which offers some excellent sights. Generally in the dry seasons, Tarangire becomes alive as wildlife and birdlife congregate along the Tarangire River, which is a permanent source of water for wildlife in this Park. We spend the night a Mobile Camp set inside the park with stunning views and a unique atmosphere.
Journey time(s): Arusha to Tarangire NP – ±2 hours | Accommodation: Privately setup Mobile Camp | Meals included: Lunch & Dinner.
Day 2: Morning & afternoon game drives
Breakfast; thereafter with your guide from Realm Africa Safaris™ and a ranger you will venture out into the expanses of Tarangire Safari park in search of wildlife to shoot – with your camera, not a gun. Much as this Park is considered one of the smallest, we like to spend two nights exploring every corner of it. Return to camp for lunch,
In the afternoon, you may opt to simply relax at the Camp or again venture out to search for more wildlife. Return to can before sunset, and on time for dinner prepared and served by your private local chefs and a team of friendly camp support staff.
Accommodation: Privately setup Mobile Camp | Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Day 3: Leisurely Morning Game drive, return to Arusha
Remember all Realm Africa Safaris™ are built around the principle of flexibility and we like to take time to listen to what our clients want and feel like doing, so this morning is usually treated leisurely. If you would Like to wake up early to go and follow the roars of the lion or track the elusive leopards by foot-prints, your guide will be ready. And if you choose just to simply enjoy a relaxing sunrise with a cup of specially brewed African coffee, it’s still fine with us. We will then set off – whenever you are ready – on a return journey to Arusha.
Journey time(s): Tarangire to Arusha – ±2 hours | Accommodation: Not Included – but can be arranged at EXTRA. | Meals included: Breakfast & Lunch.
Accommodation will be in dome-shaped Canvas Tents pitched on at public campsites with shared bathrooms, and maybe bucket showers that come cold.

Our standard offering for transport on all our East African wilderness Safaris is the Toyota Landcruiser. This vehicle is proven reliable and also delivers good off-road comfort – something we consider important on all our Safaris.
All our land cruisers come fully air-conditioned and with a cool box fully packed with complimentary en route drinks and snacks. The trucks all have large windows and an open roof that offers a 360° animal view allowing for photography while on safari.
We don’t publish fixed tour rates as our safari prices differ based on the number of persons traveling, and the type of accommodation – budget, mid-range to luxury.
