Day 01: Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park from either Kigali or Entebbe.

Breakfast; thereafter depart your hotel and embark on the drive to Bwindi Forest National Park.  Lunch en-route. Arriving at your lodge in time for check-in, dinner and overnight.

• Kigali to Bwindi Forest ±05-Hours including border crossing time (Recommended).
• Entebbe to Bwindi Forest National Park ±09-Hours (by road). Speak to us about flying from Entebbe to Bwindi Forest.

Day 02: Gorilla Habituation experience Safari in Bwindi Forest National Park

Gorilla Habituation, unlike gorilla trekking, starts as early as 6:00 am so we will have an early breakfast this morning, and thereafter confirm that you have all the basics; a lunch box (to be provided by the Lodge), raincoat, good hiking boots, waterproof pants + long-sleeved shirt, a pair of strong garden gloves, repellent, a waterproof daypack to carry all your valuables.

Your guide will thereafter transfer you to the briefing point and also help you out through the registration process. After the briefing by a Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger, you will embark on your long-awaited Gorilla Habituation Experience. Return to the lodge and relax.

Day 03: Transfer back to Kigali or Entebbe.

Breakfast; and today marks the end of your 03 Days  Gorilla Habituation Safari.

With all your bags your guide will then transfer you to back to Kigali or Entebbe International airport for your onward return flight.

Drive time(s): Bwindi to Kigali = 5 hours.

Accommodation: Not included on this Day – but can be arranged at EXTRA cost – if needed.

Meal Plan: Breakfast & Lunch.

Things to note about this 03 Days Gorilla Habituation Safari 

• There are two (02) ways of getting to Bwindi Forest On this particular trip; Fly into Kigali, and drive 05-hours to get to Bwindi Forest, or Fly into Entebbe and drive 09-hours to get to Bwindi Forest National Park. Our recommendation is that you fly in via Kigali as it is a shorter drive to get to Bwindi Forest National Park. However, if Entebbe is your choice, then we will recommend breaking the 09-hour drive into two (02) with an overnight stay at Lake Mburo National Park.
• If flying in through Kigali, we recommend getting the East African Tourist Visa – USD100 – Valid 90 Days – admits you to Uganda, Rwanda & Kenya. This comes in handy as you travel back and forth between Rwanda & Uganda.
• While this trip could start in Kigali or Entebbe, we recommend choosing Kigali in order to reduce the Driving time from Entebbe which is usually 9 – 10 hours. However, if your budget allows for a domestic flight from Entebbe to Bwindi Forest, we can arrange that. Email us and let’s discuss the details.
• This trip can Start and End in Entebbe, start in Entebbe and finish in Kigali, or even start in Kigali and finish in Entebbe (Prior flight – ground handling planning is important) simply speak to us about your start and Endpoint.
