Arrival into Entebbe:

Day 01: Fly Entebbe to Nkuringo Region (Bwindi Forest)

Breakfast; thereafter depart your Hotel at 8:00 am and embark on the drive to Bwindi Forest National Park from Entebbe.  The journey from Entebbe to Bwindi Forest National Park is approximately 500km and lasts ± 9 hours. Lunch en-route, and continue to Bwindi arriving in the evening.  Checkin, dinner, and overnight your lodge.

Journey time:

±1.5hrs flight from Entebbe to Kisoro Airport. The transfer to your lodge on a scenic drive lasting approximately 60 minutes.

Accommodation:  Bwindi Backpackers Lodge. | Meals Included: Lunch en-route, & Dinner at the Lodge.

Day 02: Gorilla trekking in Nkuringo Region (Bwindi)

Breakfast; thereafter confirm that you have all the basics; a lunch box that will be provided by the lodge where you are staying, a face-mask to safeguard you or the gorillas from COVID-19, a raincoat, a pair of good hiking boots, waterproof pants + long-sleeved shirt, a pair of strong garden gloves, repellent, a waterproof daypack to carry all your valuables.

Your guide will thereafter transfer you to the briefing point and also help you out through the registration process. After the briefing by a Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger, you will embark on your long-awaited Gorilla trekking experience. Return to the lodge and relax.

Day 03: Transfer from Nkuringo (Bwindi ) back to Kisoro, Fly back to Entebbe.

Breakfast; and today marks the end of your 3 Days Budget Flying Safari to Nkuringo Region.

With all your bags your guide will then transfer you back to Kigali or Entebbe International airport for your onward return flight.

Journey time(s):

±60 minutes road transfer to Kisoro airstrip. transfer from Bwindi to Entebbe by road.
±1.5 hours flight to Entebbe International Airport.

Accommodation: Not included on this Day – but can be arranged at EXTRA cost – if needed.

• This trip starts & finishes in Entebbe. Speak to us about the possibility of finishing in Kigali or Starting in Kigali and finishing in Kigali. (Prior flight – ground handling planning is important).
• Unless intending to flying into Uganda and out through Kigali, the ordinary Uganda tourist visa costs USD50 should Suffice. If you plan on flying out through Kigali, we recommend getting the East African Tourist Visa – USD100 – Valid 90 Days – admits you to Uganda & Rwanda.
• Kigali is only ±5 hours drive from Nkuringo Region.

For this tour, we do offer you a 4X4 Safari Customized Toyota Landcruiser – Superior off-Road Driving.

All our land cruisers come fully air-conditioned and with a cool box fully packed with complimentary en route drinks and snacks. The trucks all have large windows and an open roof that offers a 360° animal viewing and allows for photography while on safari.
