Our 1 Day Trip to Bulago Island Day is a full-day trip to Bulago Island on Lake Victoria – a 500-acre privately-owned island lying some 35 Kilometers south of Kampala. The journey by speedboat from Entebbe’s Waterfront Beach takes about 45 minutes.

Bulago Island boasts of 6km of white sand beaches and nearly 10kms of shoreline. It is the best place to escape to on a weekend or even on a short-budget Honeymoon Holiday for newlyweds.   • 9:00am: Transfer by Speed boat to Bulago Island
  • 10:00am: Arrive at Bulago, and pick an activity to do.

  • 01 – 04:00pm: Relax by the pool, and be ready to return by boat at 4:00pm

8:45 am: Pick up from your Hotel in Entebbe (Outside Entebbe Costs EXTRA)

You’ll be picked up from your Hotel in Entebbe at 08:45 am (Pickups outside Entebbe Cost EXTRA) and transferred by car to the Waterfront Beach where you will meet your speed boat. You’ll then hop onto the boat and enjoy a 45minutes boat cruise on Lake Victoria that ends at your hotel on Bulago Island.

10:00 am: Arrive at Bulago and pick an activity to do.Explore and relax On Bulago Island.

On arrival at Bulago Island, you will be briefed (in detail) about the various activities that can be done on Bulago Island so you can decide on what you want to do for the day. (All activities are charged separately unless agreed at the time of Booking) See a list of things to do on Bulago Island.

Return to base for lunch at 1:00 pm. After lunch, you may decide to relax by the pool or take on another activity if you so wish. Your boat captain will be ready to leave Bulago Island for the Entebbe Waterfront beach at exactly 04:00 pm. You’ll arrive in Entebbe mainland at approximately 04:45 pm, and thereafter be transferred back to your hotel/residence in Entebbe.
