Why a flying safari might be the right choice …

Wondering!! Why a flying safari might be the right choice !

Uganda is a beautiful country, visitors literally fall in love with the Pearl of Africa – the only drawback one hears from time to time is distance and the road conditions – a flying safari allow you to access the most remote points of Uganda such as the stunningly beautiful Kidepo Valley, the distant Bwindi Impenetrable Forest or Mgahinga Gorilla Park.

You see Uganda – the Pearl of Africa from Above and when you land you are still refreshed and often met with a wonderful welcome.  One of our clients landed in a remote area and there were about a hundred people to greet him and his family, he was most amazed.

Flying Safaris in Uganda involve using light aircraft to the various wildlife parks and reserves.  It is one of the best ways of going on safari in the Pearl of Africa.  A flying safari gives you more flexibility and variety while on Safari in Uganda and at the same time you get a Bird’s Eye view of the Emerald Pearl of Africa.

Most parks are accessible by scheduled air services  – In recent years Uganda has a more comprehensive network with both AeroLink and Fly Uganda and the cost is per seat rather than chartering the whole airplane. The aircraft used are newer and reliable models such as the Cessna Grand Caravan.  Packing for a flying safari is the only drawback, however we meet you at your destination and can have the rest of your luggage available for you.

Why fly?  Time saved – no dust, no bumpy roads – a relative short flight of two hours or less and you are at most destinations in Uganda – we meet you at the airfield, you check into your lodge and your time the wild of Uganda begins.

Fly and drive safaris have become more and more popular option for many – you fly to the furthest location and then drive to the nearby parks – drive times normally less than three hours at the most between parks and activities.

SPECIAL NOTE:

A flying safari does cost more and is higher in price than the same safari on the ground – the advantage – more time in the wildlife park and comfort…enjoy the Emerald Pearl of Africa
