After the briefing, your boat captain will help you get onto the boat, and also provide you with a life Jacket. You will thereafter set out on the journey to Mabamba Swamp. The ride from Entebbe to Mabamba Swamp is very scenic and with chances of spotting a variety of bird species like the long tailed Cormorant, African Darter, Grey headed gulls, Pied Kingfishers, Open Billed storks, Malachite Kingfisher and if lucky you might even spot the Giant Kingfisher before getting to Mabamba Swamp. This trip from Entebbe will last approximately 45 minutes (one way).
