Going On a Uganda Safari in July

Uganda Safari In July

A Uganda Safari In July: July is arguably one of the best months to travel as it lies within the earlier dry season characterized by warm temperatures and minimal rainfall meaning the climate is at its best and all activities are accessible. Although peak season corresponds with higher prices, fairly easy trekking conditions make it a preferred time to travel.
As it is the peak season, prices will be higher and permits will need to be booked well in advance – we recommend at least 06 months ahead of your travel. However, one of the benefits of Uganda, as opposed to some other African destinations, is that the parks rarely feel busy or overcrowded allowing you intimate wildlife encounters and unforgettable experiences. Some boutique lodges may fill up fast during the peak season so book early to secure your space at your preferred accommodation in Uganda.

OUR RECOMMENDATIONS FOR A UGANDA SAFARI IN JUNE

Our recommendations for a Uganda Safari in July have two sides; the Upside & the downside – we have explained both scenarios below so you can get an overview o what exactly to expect whilst planning to book you Uganda Safari in July

THE UPSIDE OF A UGANDA SAFARI IN JULY

Since the month of June is considered a dry season, temperatures are warm with clear blue skies making it the ideal time for gorilla tracking, Golden monkey trekking, Chimpanzee Tracking, and game drives as well as being pleasant for the afternoons spent at your leisure. It is possible that there may be some rainfall during your safari as Uganda is known for its tropical climate, but even still, the majority of your days will be sunny and clear.

THE DOWNSIDE OF A UGANDA SAFARI IN JULY

June is that start of the Peak Season for Uganda, and Gorilla Permits are often sold out, Chimpanzee tracking In Kibale Forest can be over-crowded, and hotels will be equally sold out. Last-minute bookings for a Uganda Safari in June are overly not “our meal to eat” – we recommend booking your Uganda Safari in June well at least 06 months in advance.
