OUR RWANDA GORILLA PERMITS BOOKING PROCESS

We realize that today’s travelers need to make travel decisions as fast as possible. We aim to make a difference in the way and speed with which  you are able secure your gorilla permit, relative to otherwise using another operator or going direct to RDB.  Our permits booking customer charter emphasizes keeping your informed throughout the whole process, as we understand how anxious clients can be about whether they will get their permits to enable them confirm flights and accommodation bookings in Rwanda. We aim to reply to your emails within 4 hrs, 7 days a week, weekends without being an exception.

1. Drop us an email indicating preferred gorilla trekking dates. We request that you give us a range of dates, in case gorilla permits are not available for your preferred gorilla trek day.
2. Based on gorilla permits availability charts that we receive regularly from RDB the permits issuing office, we shall first contact RDB to confirm availability numbers, as gorilla permits availability can be extremely fluid. We have known cases of 20 permits being snapped up within a matter of hours.  Upon confirming available gorilla permit numbers, we revert with you, with confirmations. Rwanda gorilla permit inquiries that come through to us on Sundays will be confirmed first thing on  Monday mornings as RDB offices are closed on Sundays.
3. Upon advice of Rwanda gorilla permits’ availability, we request that you send to us full names, nationalities and passport numbers of all the gorilla trekkers, as these get printed on the Rwanda gorilla permits.
4. We shall the proceed to send you a formal invoice indicating  our  bank details for to pay for your permit bookings.
5. When you bank wire funds to us, we request that you advise us so that we can look out for the same and acknowledge receipt asap. It usually takes 4-5 business working days for the monies to get to us, depending on the remitting bank. Upon receipt of funds, we send you an acknowledgement email without any delay. For more urgent permits requests, we are able to purchase the gorilla permits using our own Kigali domiciled funds, as soon as you send to us a bank wire confirmation note, so that we do not miss out on the few remaining gorilla permits.
6. When we receive the funds that you send to us, we make payments for the gorilla permits in the bank onto RDB’s bank account( cash payments are not allowed) at RDB’s offices in Kigali. RDB takes about 4 days to process the gorilla permits. Our Kigali office gets notified by telephone as soon as your permits are ready for collection by a member of our dedicated staff.
7. Upon receipt of your gorilla permits from RDB. On the same day, we shall scan and email copies of the gorilla permits for your review and for those who require entry visas into Rwanda for use as an invitation letter to visit Rwanda for visa purposes.. The originals of the gorilla permits are secured  in our Kigali office and will be delivered to you upon arrival to Kigali either at the airport if you prefer or to your Kigali hotel. In rare cases and upon request, we are able to deliver gorilla permits to PNV for clients who do not transit through Kigali for one reason or another.
8. At this stage for clients who prefer to book other gorilla tour related components with us, we are able to advise other value added services, including airport transfers, transportation, accommodation bookings in Kigali, accommodation bookings in the Virungas, purchase of chimp permits, booking of golden monkey permits, Kigali city tours or even outfitted guided gorilla tour packages. We have a range of self drive and with driver 4×4 cars for hire at very good competitive prices. Our accommodation booking are pro-bono and will not cost you anymore than you would otherwise pay if you contact the Lodge/Hotel direct. You tell us your accommodation options and we book them on your behalf-free of charge.
9. If  Rwanda gorilla permits are not available. We recommend gorilla tracking In Uganda’s  Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, Speak to Us about trekking Gorillas in Uganda and we will check availability with Uganda Wildlife Authority’s offices in Kampala Uganda  and advise.
10. We await to receive you in either Rwanda or Uganda for the start of your gorilla trekking, hand over your Rwanda gorilla permits.
