Porini Rhino camp is situated in the private Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a conservation area that is firmly focused on protecting the wildlife, and people that surround it.
Porini Rhino Camp is hidden in a secluded valley and set amongst shady acacia trees on the banks of a seasonal river on the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. There is an airstrip for private charters approximately 10 minutes from camp and regularly scheduled flights arrive at the Nanyuki airstrip which is about 45 minutes drive from Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
The Camp offers seven (07)spacious guest tents, each comfortably furnished with en suite bathrooms that have flush lavatories and safari showers. The camp is very environmentally-friendly with solar-powered lighting and no generator. Each tent has been sited to have beautiful views of the surrounding areas.
The meals at Porini Rhino Camp are served alfresco style. Guests get to enjoy picnic lunches out in the bush while sundowner drinks are served with a view during evening game drives, allowing you to enjoy a beautiful African sunset while out on the savannah – isn’t this beautiful!?
