Lake Mburo National Park in recent years seen an increase in lodges giving more choices to visitors to the National Park – most of the new lodges are moderately priced. We have used Mburo Safari Lodge for our better budget – moderately priced safaris since their opening and our clients have been quite satisfied with their stay at Mburo Safari Lodge – Lake Mburo National Park – the reason is simple – Mburo Safari Lodge is synonymous with value and delivers that value to its guests. For the Price – the lodge offers a lot and most who stay here, enjoy it. There are not many moderately priced lodges here in the Park.
Mburo Safari Lodge – Lake Mburo National Park -Private grass-thatched cottages including a family cottage and a honeymoon cottage – all on wooden platforms with decks overlooking the park. Inside you will find locally handcrafted furniture, king-sized beds, wardrobes (not always available on safari), mosquito nets. The cottages are en-suite with bath which includes showers and tubs. Each cottage comes with a sense of privacy in the bush- your own deck where you can sit and take in the African Wild around you with its sounds and sights – or simply write into your safari journal, your experiences of the day.
In between nature walks, game drives, boat rides on Lake Mburo – you can relax on your deck, in the main loge sharing with others your journey, your safari, take a dip in the pool or sit by the evening camp fire listening to the sounds of the African night around you.
The Honeymoon cottage even has a kitchen, fridge and other comforts you might enjoy including a coffee maker – for best coffee try our “Good African Coffee” or “Bugisu Gold Brand,” both are excellent coffees that you will delight in and might even take some of the coffee home.
Your meals are delightfully served in the main-lodge where you also find a bar and sitting area – everywhere you turn there is a great view to enhance your time at the Lodge.
Restaurant style food and special dietary needs will be met by the chef.
While in the main lodge during the evening you can enjoy a cozy fire that is always going in the fireplace, crackles and all. Mburo Safari Lode represents value and moderately priced quality at Lake Mburo Safari Lodge.
