The Legendary Serengeti Camp is an exclusive, high-end seasonal mobile safari camp that rotates around Serengeti, Maswa Game Reserve or the Mwiba Wildlife Reserve in northern Tanzania. The seasonal mobile camp is an eleven (11) tent camp that delivers sheer exclusivity including the option to book the whole camp on a private basis.

The Legendary Serengeti Camp moves between Maswa Game Reserve bordering Serengeti’s Southwest, Western Serengeti near the Grumeti River and Northern Serengeti near in Kogatende.
The eleven (11) tents are pitched as a split camp. One side has 6 or 7 tents and the other, 5 or 4 tents. Each section faces a different direction with the natural surrounding vegetation delivering maximum privacy for each tent. Each section of the camp is fully contained with separate lounge and dining facility. Six or more guests are therefore guaranteed an exclusive part of the camp. Smaller groups travelling as friends or family can enjoy semi-exclusivity. Each party or group gets to enjoy a private safari vehicle for game drives while seating at separate dining tables at mealtimes.
The mobile camps close from 1 May until 15 May in anticipation of high rainfall during the green season. The planned dates for camp mobilisation are subject to change to follow the migratory route of the wildebeest. Should the herds move earlier or later than expected, the camps will be mobilised accordingly.
The expected movement pattern of the herds for 2020 – 2021
- Southern Serengeti / Maswa Reserve: the beginning of December until the end of April.
- Western Serengeti / Grumeti area: middle of May through to the middle of July.
- Northern Serengeti/ Kogatende area: middle of July to the end of November.
