Chimpanzee habituation experience safaris in Uganda take place in Kibale Forest national park sometimes referred to as the primate capital of the world. Just like gorilla habituation, chimpanzee habituation in Kibale Forest national park is a whole days affair that starts as early as 06:30 am – in order for visitors to find the wild chimps as they de-nest, following them all day to observe their behaviour till the time when they nest in the evening. Chimpanzee habituation permits in Kibale Forest National park cost USD220 for Foreign Non-residents, USD150 for Foreign Residents – Expats – Diplomats, and UGX70,000 for East African Citizens.
