Filming in Lake Mburo National Park is perhaps the most interesting for nature & wildlife filmmaker looking for a filming location not too far-away from Kampala or Entebbe. The Drive to Lake Mburo National Park from Kampala is only 4-hours. Alternatively, you could fly out of Entebbe and get to Mbarara Airstrip – in 45 minutes. The drive from Mbarara Airstrip to Lake Mburo National Park is about 01-hours drive.
Lake Mburo National Park is known to many for being the smallest safari park of all the Ten (10) National Parks in Uganda however for us at Realm Africa Safaris™, we look beyond the size, and focus more on what we think makes Lake Mburo National Park a spectacular Park. This park is the least visited – meaning you enjoy a crowd-free environment – in spite of it being only 4 hours drive from Kampala/Entebbe, and above all to us, this is the most logically viable filming location in Uganda for persons seeking to film on a budget.
