The Ewaffe Cultural Village located only 60 – 90 minutes from Kampala/Entebbe is an ideal cultural centre worth a visit. The visit to this centre will take up most of the day. You don’t have to bring food, as there will be plenty of organic food(s) including various Fruits. Lunch will be served in generous portions, and you’ll be amazed at how much you will learn about the Culture of the Largest tribe that inhabits the central part of Uganda called the Baganda Culture.
Located about 1 -1.5 hours from Kampala/Entebbe, the Ewaffe cultural village is a culture and eco-tourism site showcasing the traditional values and norms of the Baganda Tribe – all in an eco-friendly manner. The centre was started by a brilliant young female called Aisha Nabwanika.

Depending on when you arrive at the Ewaffe Cultural Village, you will be warmly welcomed with the sounding of local drums, a cultural dance, and a sip of the naturally made organic non-alcoholic banana juice served in traditional calabash gourds for drinking with bamboo straws.
You will be briefed about your day’s activities at the Village. Thereafter you are finished, the cultural tour of the village starts. Activities in the village are highly customizable to visitors’ time and interest, however, we recommend enjoying the entire package, you will be surprised at how educational these unfolding experiences can be at the end of your tour.
