While Mountain gorilla Permits are still charged at $700 per person/permit, this is due to change after 01st July/2024. Permits after this date will then cost $800 per person/permit for Foreign non-residents, Foreign Residents will pay $700 per person/permit, while Africans from East African Community (EAC) member states; Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi and South Sudan will pay UGX300,000. Travelers from non-EAC member States will pay $500 per person/permit.
