What is the Price/Cost of Filming Permits In Uganda?
Media permits or Press accreditation fees in Uganda vary depending on how long you intend to stay while filming in Uganda.
- a fee of US$175 per person – 1 – 30 days (1 month)
- a fee of US$225 per person is paid for a period beyond 30 days up to six months.
- a fee of US$325 per person is paid for two years.
How about Location Permits? What is the Price/Cost of a Location Permit?
Location permit fees in Uganda are negotiable depending on where you will be filming. For purposes of planning, we recommend budgeting anything from $100 per day for a location permit.

Similarly, the cost of hiring a local talent/cast to work with you or feature in your shoot is negotiable but could start from as low as $100 per person per day.
What is the Price/Cost of crew & cast accommodation in Uganda?

How about the price/Cost of Transportation?
Getting around is often done using motor vehicles. We have both closed and open vehicles for Filming. Each of our vehicles is driven by an experienced local fixer. Our fleet comprises Mini-Vans costing $150 per day, Toyota Landcruisers costing $200 per day and specialised filming jeeps cost $250 per day.
