The Best Way to Get to Ewaffe Cultural Village
As earlier mentioned, the most recommended way to get to the Ewaffe Cultural Village is to book your Cultural trip with Realm Africa Safaris. However, should you prefer to do it on your own, then read on.
Getting to Ewaffe Cultural Village from Entebbe
-
- Private (Own Car) arrangement: Drive onto the Entebbe Express highway (UGX5,000 One-way Toll fees apply), and continue onto the Northern by-pass, until you get to the Kalerwe Round about. Take the first exit and drive onto Gayaza – Kampala Road. As you drive, look out for smaller towns; Mperwere, Wampewo, and a roundabout at Kasangati. At the Kasangati roundabout, you will take the second exit onto Gayaza – Manyangwa road, until you get to another roundabout at a town called Kalagi. Take the second exit onto the Kampala – Jinja highway until you get to a Total Naggalma Station. Slightly ahead, turn left towards the Nagalama Islamic Institute, and follow the little signs along a dirt and bumpy road and you will eventually arrive at the Ewaffe Cultural Village.
- By Public Transport: This means of getting to Ewaffe Cultural Village will require you to exercise a lot of patience simply because the public transport mini-buses/taxis will often stop at most of the little towns for passengers to hop on and off. There might even be a couple of Minute stops at locations to call/wait for potential customers. The entire travel experience might just about turn out to be a horrible one – besides, you might not make it to the cultural Village on time to be able to experience it fully.
