Mountain Gorilla Habituation Safaris are taking place in the Rushaga Area in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with 04 participants being allowed per group the cost for a permit is US$1,500 per person.
There are two groups being habituated in the Rushaga area by researchers at the present time. A safari that takes in the Gorilla Habituation Experience needs to be planned well-ahead of time.
We can incorporate Gorilla Habituation into any safari that includes Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for your safari with us. There are several safaris presently on the linked page. Please note – Gorilla Habituation Experiences are very limited in number – 04 participants to a group of gorillas. Planning is the key – all safaris below can be done with the Gorilla Habituation Experience but it all depends on availability.

03 DAYS BUDGET GORILLA TRACKING IN UGANDA
This is a private Gorilla tracking Safari utilizing budget lodging and full-board meal plan. The Full Board meal plan caters for breakfast, Lunch & dinners en route and or while at the Lodges. Safe bottled water is provided in the car and also lunches while travelling between Kampala/Entebbe & Bwindi. 01 gorilla permit per person is included in the price of the safari.
The location of the lodge depends on where we get gorilla permits for your gorilla safari. There are 04 locations where to stay and take part in gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga, and Nkuringo.
SPECIAL NOTE:
This safari can be changed to include being 04 hours with the Mountain Gorillas on a full day trek as part of a Gorilla Habituation Experience in the Rushaga area of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – Permit prices are US$1500 for 4 hours instead of US$600 for just 01 hour with the mountain gorillas. This is only offered in Uganda.
