Brief Itinerary of the full-day tour of the Ewaffe Cultural Village
- 8:00 am: Depart for Ewaffe Cultural Village in Mukono district.
- 9/9:30 am: Arrival at the Village.

Full-day Tour to Ewaffe Cultural Village
8:00 am – 9:30 am: Arrival at the Ewaffe Cultural Village
Depart for the Ewaffe Cultural Village (60 minutes drive from Kampala or 90 minutes from Entebbe).
Journey time: ± 60 – 90 minutes from Kampala or Entebbe.
9:30 am – 11:00 am : Farm tour at Ewaffe Cultural Village.
You will start with a tour of the farm. Here you will be guided by a local onsite farm guide. He will explain the various plants/herds in the garden and later allow time for questions and answers.
11:00 – 11:30 noon: Organic fruit feast
You will be welcomed to a table of organic fruits farmed on the Ewaffe Cultural Village Farm/garden. Typically expect to feast on the tiny but perhaps the most tasty bananas in Uganda, pineapples, sour soap fruits, pawpaw, passion fruit etc.
11:30 – 01:00 pm: Cultural lecture
Guided by the group’s interest, your group will have a lecture on any or all of the following;

Gender-based role plays.

Traditional food preparation. Local cuisines i.e. matooke and luwombo are prepared.

Bark cloth making.

01:00 – 02:00 pm: Lunch at Ewaffe Cultural Village.
You will be invited to a table of organically fresh food variety including the traditional Luwombo dish – a favourite for many of the visitors to Ewaffe.
From here onwards, you will engage in a variety of activities that will last up to 6:00 pm which ends with yet another feast of roasted/barbequed goat’s meat after which you will make your way home thus marking the End of your full-day tour of Ewaffe Cultural Village.
