Detailed Itinerary (Day-by-Day)
Day 01: Transfer from Kigali to Volcanoes NP.
Breakfast at your hotel in Kigali, and thereafter your guide from Realm Africa Safaris™ will meet and brief you about your 4 Days Cheap Rwanda Gorilla & Golden Monkey Safari. You will then visit the Gisozi genocide memorial for an insightful tour. *We recommend taking an audio guide – this costs extra and is payable directly to the reception.
Journey time: ±2-Hours from Kigali.
Accommodation: Muhabura Hotel| Meals Included: Lunch, & Dinner at the Lodge.
Day 03: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Breakfast; thereafter confirm you have all the gear you need; a lunch box (to be provided by the Lodge), raincoat, good hiking boots, waterproof pants + long-sleeved shirt, a pair of strong garden gloves, repellent, a waterproof daypack to carry all your valuables.
Your guide will thereafter transfer you to the briefing point and also help you out through the registration process. After the briefing by a Rwanda Wildlife Authority ranger, you will embark on your first trek into the lush forest in search of the cheeky & Playful Golden Monkeys. You’ll spend 1-hour viewing and Photographing them before returning to base. Return to the lodge and relax.

Day 03: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Breakfast; thereafter confirm that you have all the basics; a lunch box (to be provided by the Lodge), raincoat, good hiking boots, waterproof pants + long-sleeved shirt, a pair of strong garden gloves, repellent, a waterproof daypack to carry all your valuables.
Your guide will thereafter transfer you to the briefing point and also help you out through the registration process. After the briefing by a Rwanda Wildlife Authority ranger, you will embark on your long-awaited Gorilla trekking experience. Return to the lodge and relax.

Day 04: Transfer from Volcanoes National Park back to Kigali
Breakfast; and today marks the end of your 4 Days Cheap Rwanda Gorilla & Golden Monkey Safari starting in Kigali.
With all your bags your guide will then transfer you back to Kigali International airport for your onward return flight.
