History has it that an expectant woman named Nakangu Tebatuusa then had marital misunderstandings with her husband Mr. Nsubuga Sebwaata who then left her marital home and returned to her parent’s home. Unfortunately, her father commanded her to go back to her husband and talk out their marital issues. On her return trip back to her home, she was accompanied by her mother who left her a short distance from her home. As Nakangu got closer to her marital home, she got tired and as she rested, gave birth to birth to twins in form of water. Her husband found her after being tipped off and led to the location by a man who had seen her go to the bush. They saw a pool of water flowing which became the two rivers named Bwanda and Sezibwa.
