Gorilla Safaris from Entebbe
Our Gorilla Safaris from Entebbe go to either Bwindi Forest National Park or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. These two (02) Parks are the only places one can track and see mountain gorillas in Uganda besides Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda and Virunga National Park in DR Congo ( See: why we don’t go to DR. Congo).
We organise gorilla Safaris that range from budget, mid-range to the luxury. No Matter the category (budget, mid-range or lux), we can tailor this to meet your exact individual needs.
Gorilla Trekking Tours Starting in Entebbe
What to expect
Our Gorilla Safaris from Entebbe can either depart by Flight from Entebbe to Kisoro or Kihihi for travellers constrained with time (have limited number of days but want to experience gorilla trekking), or if you have some enough time, we prefer taking a well-planned leisurely drive between other parks en route before getting to Bwindi Forest National Park for Gorilla Trekking.
If constrained by time, flying out Entebbe into Bwindi Forest National Park saves you the long (±9 hours) direct drive from Entebbe to Bwindi Forest National Park. The flight from Entebbe to either Kisoro or Kihihi (both designated landing airstrip close to Bwindi Forest) takes approximately 1.5 hours depending on two factors: routing of the plain and or prevailing weather condition.

Alternatively, travellers that have the luxury of enjoying a well-paced Uganda Safari should consider driving to Bwindi Forest National Park. To break the long drive to Bwindi Forest National Park and also allow you to experience a little more than just Gorilla trekking, we like to add-in a two (02) other safari parks to spice up your itinerary. We like to add an overnight stay at Lake Mburo National Park, 2 Days in Queen Elizabeth National Park, 1 day in the southern sector (Ishasha sector) popular for the tree-climbing lions before proceeding to Bwindi Forest National Park where you will eventually do the Gorilla Trek.
