5-Day Murchison Falls Safari staying at Anyadwe House
Day 01: Transfer to Murchison Falls NP via Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Early (07:30 am) start from Entebbe to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for your Rhino tracking Experience. Lunch en route. Continue to your accommodation tonight arriving on time for check-in, dinner and overnight.

Day 02: Shoebill Delta Trip & afternoon game drive
Early breakfast at the lodge restaurant and your boat will pick you up at the Private Anyadwe House jetty, and cruise to the Delta area for your shoebill tracking experience. Shoebill tracking in Murchison Falls is done on a small boat and sails downstream into the delta area. Expect to spot lots of birds and wildlife as you head down into the Marsh-filled delta area. Return to your private villa for lunch, and an afternoon siesta.
In the afternoon, you will join your Private Realm Africa Safaris guide for a game drive on the Northern Bank of the River Nile. Keep your camera close as there will be plenty of wildlife, especially in the later hours of the evening as the temperature cools down. Return to your private luxurious Anyadwe House for dinner & overnight.

Day 03: Morning game drive, afternoon boat safari on the Nile.
This morning, you will set out from your private Villa at dawn…remember the early bird catches the worm. The earlier you are in the park, the greater chances you have to spot more wildlife just before it gets warm. The game drives typically last 03 hours, after which you will make your way back to your Private Villa by the Nile – Anyadwe House on time for lunch. After lunch, your boat captain will pick you up at the Private Anyadwe House jetty, and this time round, you will cruise upstream towards the Falls. This trip is popular with elephant & buffalo sightings, waterbucks, hippos, crocodiles and an array of water birds, among others. Return to base on a leisurely sundowner trip with your favourite drinks and snacks served on the boat. This trip ends at your private Villa by the Nile – Anyadwe House.

Day 04: Chimpanzee tracking & Visit the top of Murchison Falls with a Short hike.
Be ready to set off from your Private Villa at 07:00 am and drive for about 45 minutes to get to Budongo Forest for chimpanzee tracking. On arrival, you will be met by a site guide who will brief you about chimpanzee tracking in Budongo forest, mentioning the dos & don’ts of the forest, and thereafter, he/she will guide you on the walk to find the chimps. Upon finding them you will be allowed a maximum of 01-hour of viewing & photography, after which you will make your way back to the starting point. Depending on when you return, you may have lunch at the onsite Budongo cafe. Thereafter, we will drive to the top of the Falls, where you will go on a guided short hike to view the Magnificent Murchison Falls as it plunges through a 7-meter narrow gap and drops 43 meters into the Devil cauldron flowing westwards into Lake Albert.

Day 05: Transfer Back to Entebbe.
This morning, you will transfer back to Entebbe, where your tour started. Alternatively, you could consider extending this tour by 3 days to include Gorilla trekking In Bwindi. This extension will mean that instead of transferring to Entebbe on Day 05, you will fly out of Pakuba Airport in Murchison Falls National Park and land in the Kihihi or Kisoro sector. Kihihi Airport is in the Northern Bwindi Sector, and Kisoro Airport is on the Southern Bwindi side. where you will go will largely be determined by the availability of Gorilla Permits. Gorilla Permits do get easily sold out in the peak season months of June, July, August & September. Our recommendation is to ensure you decide and book this extension at least 06 months in advance.
