Gorilla trekking has seasons dubbed Peak, and low season. The peak season for gorilla trekking falls in June – August and December – February, and the Low season is in March April, and May. It’s not so unusual that you show up on the day/date of trekking only to discover that there is only you and a team of UWA guides and trackers visiting the assigned gorilla Family.
