FULL ITINERARY – 7 DAYS AMAZING RWANDA HOLIDAY
Day 01: Arrival in Kigali, Rwanda
On arrival at Kigali Airport, your uniformed Realm Africa Safaris™ will meet, greet and assist you at the Airport. Thereafter he/she shall transfer you to your Kigali Hotel.
Overnight: Kigali | Accommodation: Heaven Boutique Hotel. | Meal Plan: Breakfast Only.
Day 02: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest NP.
Kigali – Nyungwe Forest National Park. This morning This morning your driver-guide will meet you after breakfast, and you will embark on a drive to Nyungwe forest NP with an en route Stop in Nyanza to visit the Kings Palace. Lunch en route, and then continue will the scenic drive through the Lush forest arriving at the UWINKA VISITORS CENTRE in time for your afternoon Canopy walk.
After the walk, your driver-guide will then transfer you to your lodge on time for check-in dinner and overnight.

Day 03: Chimpanzee Tracking In Cyamudongo Forest.
Be ready to depart your lodge at 6:30 am, and drive for 1-hour arriving Cyamundongo Forest in time for the chimp trekking briefing.
Head Into the forest in the company of a local & professional team of rangers and porters from the communities neighboring the Forest. We like to recommend that you each take a porter- they are handy in the forest and most important is that the cash you pay them for this service helps make a difference in their lives and also indirectly contributes to ongoing conservation.
As soon as you have found the chimps, you will be allowed 1-hour to observe & photograph the chimps thereafter returning to base where your driver Guide will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 04: Transfer to Lake Kivu
Nyungwe – Lake Kivu: Breakfast thereafter embark on perhaps the most scenic drive along The Nile Congo Trail leading you the well-placed Serena Hotel overlooking Lake Kivu. Lunch at the Hotel. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 05: Kivu to Volcanoes NP.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking In Volcanoes National Park
Have an early breakfast report to the Volcanoes park headquarters as early as 7:30 am. After a short drill as regards your expected gorilla tracking conduct is concerned, you will enter the rainforest in search of the mountain gorillas. It is advisable to carry along with you a packed lunch, energy bite and mineral water on this expedition because sometimes tracking can last very long from 01 – 06 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. On locating the gorillas, the experience is so exhilarating and will be well worth the trouble. Spend a maximum of one hour with the gorillas then return to your lodge.

- Golden Monkey Trekking can also be done this morning – we appreciate informing us well in advance for planing purposes.
- Alternatively, you could opt to visit the Gisozi Genocide Memorial in Kigali.
