How to book/secure last-Minute Media cards in Uganda


While we like to advise all our clients to Plan and have their Media Card secured at least 2 months in advance, we equally understand that there are various circumstances that might make this impossible, and thus generate the need for a Last-minute Filming Permit booking.

Anyhow, if you need last-minute Media Cards in Uganda, this is what we will need from you;

  • A brief write-up about your Filming Project – mention dates of shooting, locations at which you intend to film, and why/intentions of Filming at these particular locations. Also, add the list of Crew members and their roles. If you intend to indulge in drone Filming, then you must ensure your drone Pilot is Qualified and has documents to prove they are qualified.   • Send us a list of the Kit/equipment you intend to bring with you for your shoot in Uganda. The list must mention the item, serial number, and monetary value in US Dollars.   • Each individual must send us a scanned copy of your employee ID if working for a Production company or a recommendation letter if you are working freelance.
  • Each individual must send us a copy of her/his most recent passport Photos. These are to be imprinted on the Media/Press Card yet to be issued to you.
