Depart Kampala/Entebbe at 7:00am for Mpanga forest. The drive is approximately 90 minutes depending on the traffic at the time of travel.
Arrive at about 08:30 am and embark on a guided forest nature walk through the Mpanga equatorial rainforest with the hope of seeing a variety of butterfly species, birds, and also impressive tree species.
The walk usually takes about 60 minutes or 2 hours if you are an intent birder after which you may opt to visit the drum-making village in Mpambire 10 minutes drive from the Mpanga Eco-tourism site or drive back to Entebbe/Kampala.
