Entebbe Botanical Gardens

Entebbe Botanical Gardens provides a perfect introduction to the Pearl of Africa – Uganda with all of its beauty and magical splendour.  The Botanical Gardens is a beautiful pearl within the Pearl of Africa – Uganda – that most visitors do not get to see since it is not on the normal itinerary unless you are a birder.


Uganda Wildlife Education Center

most call it the zoo is a great place to relax and walk around – located along with Lake Victoria – you can take an afternoon mini-safari here and enjoy the vegetation, plants and trees found in Uganda at the same time. You can even schedule a morning personal encounter with the chimpanzees.


Ngamba Chimpanzee Island Entebbe City

Ngamba Chimpanzee Island (chimpanzee orphanage) has become a popular add-on to some of our Safari clients – you can stay overnight here and enjoy the Island and chimpanzees and have an interactive experience with the chimpanzees and watch them during feeding times. Speedboat travel from the dock in Entebbe to Ngamba Island is approximately 45-50 minutes; travel by traditional motorized canoe takes approximately 90 minutes and by air, it’s approximately 20 minutes from Entebbe Airport or Kajjansi Airstrip.


Shoebill Tracking in Mabamba

Mabamba Swamp – a short trip from Entebbe is a very popular day trip through African villages to Mabamba Swamp – one of the best places in Uganda to see the Shoebill Stork and other water birds.

Uganda Reptile Village

This is a start-up by the passionate Kazibwe Yasin commonly referred to as “snake” by the community. A tour to this place will directly contribute to the continued existence and spread wildlife conservation awareness among the communities.
